Aggregators are known also as feed readers, news readers, rss readers. These are web applications which aggregates syndicated web content such as news headlines, blogs, podcasts and blogs in a single location for easy viewing. Aggregators save us time and efforts for checking websites for updates as they create a unique information space and play the role of a “personalised online newsletter”. The aggregator check up for new content at intervals set up by the user, and retrieves the updates. These tools are very useful for regular updates in our research work – you can set up certain keywords and receive targeted and filtered research news.
